About Dr. Sand

Dr. Sand is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He is an assistant clinical professor at Midwestern University Medical School.

Bruce S. Sand received his undergraduate education at the University at Albany, Albany, NY, where he graduated Cum Laude. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University. Following his internship and medical residency, Dr. Sand completed Gastroenterology fellowship at Botsford General Hospital, University of Michigan and The Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center, New York City, NY.

He trained under renowned gastroenterologists Henry D. Janowitz, MD and Jerome D. Waye, MD, of The Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center, New York City, NY. He holds hospital privileges at HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center and HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center.
